Did you know...?

  • The Green Bandana, a contemporary symbol of the feminist movement in Chile and Latin America, was released in Chile on July 25, 2018 for the Abortion With No Restrictions March.

  • The color green was chosen in 2005 ahead of the Sixth Latin American Feminists Conference.

  • The design was chosen in a contest won by the graphic designer Carolina Lería who was inspired by the poster for the 1st National Conference of the Pro-Emancipation Movement of the Chilean Woman (Memch) in 1937.
